Expect Airport Delays on Thursday Morning

July 13, 2010 - On Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport will be conducting additional security measures such as vehicle inspection, resulting in minimal delays, the airport stated in a press release today.

The additional measures are part of a security exercise for the airport's ongoing security training program. In addition to the vehicle inspection, the exercise will include measures unseen to the general public. The airport advised arriving to the airport 90 minutes before intended take-off, particularly for early morning flights.
