Children's Miracle Network Celebration Broadcast Telethon
Noon to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, June 5
Tune in to this year's Children's Miracle Network Celebration Broadcast Telethon. This broadcast will air on WTOC-TV, the local CBS affiliate. The Broadcast will showcase the George and Marie Backus Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network. It will also introduce the 2010 Miracle Children.
Young Breast Cancer Survivors Retreat

This retreat is open to all young adults who are breast cancer survivors and their caregivers. Learn about factors that influence a healthy survivorship, genetic aspects of cancer and inherited family cancer syndromes, relationship dynamics after cancer, and dietary suggestions to lead a healthy lifestyle and keep cancer from returning. Wheelchair Tennis Lessons

The Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial University Medical Center holds weekly wheelchair tennis practice at the tennis courts at Lake Mayer. This annual wine tasting event raises funds for The Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial University Medical Center, and Memorial's trauma and critical care services.
