Michael Arnette Thornburg (SAVANNAH)
Michael Arnette Thornburg, age 43, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. Thornburg was a native of Savannah and former owner of Arnette Contracting of Savannah for over 15 years and more recently was a partner of Thornburg Painting.

Survivors include his daughter, Summer N. Thornburg of Bloomingdale, twin sons Nathan E. and Joshua E. Thornburg of Bloomingdale; mother and step-father Wynelle and Don Benudoin of Pooler; father James Thornburg of Savannah; sisters Donna Wilfur of Savannah and Angie Reno of Eden; brothers Jimmy Thornburg Jr. of Bloomingdale and Bobby Thornburg of Savannah; one expected grandson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Bonaventure Cemetery with Sister Vera Daniels officiating. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7 at New Testament Missionary Outreach. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the graveside service.
