June 28, 2012 - Zenas Warnell "Shorty" Davis, age 82, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at his home while surrounded by his loving friends.

Davis was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and NASCAR. He loved to work in his yard, shopping for bargains and enjoyed spending time with his adopted family, the Harts. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel Webster Davis, mother Maude Flanagan Warnell Davis Fry and step-father Horace William Fry.

A celebration of his life will be held 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service
