June 28, 2012 - Willis Beatrice Halford "Bea" Shepard, 84, of Savannah entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at home with her loving family. Bea was born in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Savannah with her family as a young child. She has been an absolutely extraordinary mother, grandmother, friend, sister and wife.

She was a member of Coastal Cathedral in Savannah, where she served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a devoted alter worker and prayer warrior, bringing blessings to all that had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving husband, William D. Shepard Sr.; sons, William D. Shepard, Jr., Randy Shepard and his wife Donna; daughter Brenda Kaye "Sandy" Shepard and her husband, Shuler Bryan. Grandchildren, Dawn Wilhott and her husband Chip; Daniel Shepard, III and his wife Amber; Tyler Shepard, Shelley Fox, Sherrin Evans and her husband Isaac Evans; great-grandchildren, Ariel Wilhott and Genevieve Shepard. Sister, Louise Bennett and brother Earl Halford.

Visitation: Friday, June 29, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Graveside Services: Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 12 noon at the Bonaventure Cemetery.
