June 25, 2012 - Paul W. Wynn, 67, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Hospice Savannah. The Alma native was the owner of Wynn Business Systems and retired from the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield, the Alee Shriners, and the Chatham Artillery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jule B. Wynn and Mary Sowell Wynn; brothers, Homer and Vernon Wynn. Survivors include his wife, Lavonne F. Wynn of Clyo; daughter, Suzanne (Bruce) Wynn Fussell of Black Creek; son, Adam (Leslie) Wynn of Statham; grandchildren, Eden, Zack, and Will Fussell all of Black Creek, Erin Militello of Athens, Nathan and Christina Wynn both of Statham; sisters, Merle Sellers of Rincon, Fran Harris of Arkansas, and Catherine Fuller of Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Springfield. Honorary pallbearers will be the Army National Guard. Interment will be private.
