July 10, 2012 - Mary Anne Kitty Kicklighter Fulghum, 84, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Hospice Savannah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse F. Fulghum. Fulghum was born and raised in Glennville, Ga and attended local schools. At the young age of 17, she moved to Savannah and enrolled in the Warren A. Candler School of Nursing. She graduated with a registered nursing degree. At the time of her retirement, she was nursing supervisor at Candler Hospital.

She was a faithful member of the Cokesbury United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Fulghum also was a former member of the Moon River Chorus Sweet Adeline's.

She is survived by a son, Michael Fulghum (Debbie) of Sylvania; a daughter, Michele Bankston of Savannah; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday July 10, 2012 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church. Funeral Service: 12:30 p.m., Tuesday at the church with Rev. Mike Myers officiating.
