June 29, 2012 - Sheriff Al St Lawrence, his command staff and his administrative staff are moving out of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office and into nearby office space due to the detention center expansion project's ongoing construction and renovations.

As of Monday, July 2, the sheriff and his staff will be located at 30 Park of Commerce Way, Suite 200 just off Chatham Parkway-around the corner from the Sheriff's Office Complex.

The sheriff must move out of his office so construction crews can begin the renovation of the existing building. These renovations could take up to a year to complete.
