CNT Seeks Public's Assistance

Aug. 8, 2012 - The Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team (CNT) is seeking the public's assistance in locating a wanted person.
CNT is seeking 50-year-old George Samuel Townsend of Savannah. Townsend's warrants stem from an investigation in which Townsend fraudulently obtained various prescription medication, all of which were controlled substances. In all, Townsend is wanted by CNT on a total of eight felony warrants for the offense, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.
Townsend is described as a white male, 6'01", 290lbs, brown hair, blue eyes who normally wears a mustache. Townsend's last known address was on Salt Creek Road and is known to frequent the Garden City and Pooler area.
